March 28, 2012 - Former Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (now the Missile Defense Agency) director Malcolm R. O'Neill (Lt. General, U.S. Army, Retired) is the recipient of the 2012 Ronald Reagan Missile Defense Award for his outstanding support and leadership of the United States' ballistic missile defense program.

Horn Relieves Hicks As Aegis BMD Program Director
Nov. 13, 2009 - Rear Admiral Joseph A. Horn, USN, has relieved Rear Admiral Alan B. Hicks, USN, as the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) Program Director, Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense. In ceremonies Friday, Nov 13, at the Washington Navy Yard, Horn also assumed command of the Navy's Air and Missile Defense Command. Rear Admiral Hicks retired during the ceremonies, and Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, served as the keynote speaker and host. (MDA Photo)
